Compensation Plan
Project details
What we need
- Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
- Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
Additional details
Our school has grown and changed in the last 2 years and we want to review the compensation for our Directors in context of market data to make sure that they are being fairly paid.
What we have in place
- We currently have pay history and newly updated job descriptions, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a list of similar schools to reach out to for market data, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,806 , allowing us to continue to serve a majority of low income students of color.
We are considered a leader in our field- early childhood education in San Francisco- and we have tripled in size in the last three years. Our founders are still running the school and we want to make sure that they are being paid a rate that is commensurate with their experience and that reflects the current preschool director market. We are a bit unusual in that we are a co-op that serves a majority of subsidized tuition students, most schools are one or the other.

Testimonials
Katie was great to work with, really clear on how the process and delivered the results of our plan in a timely manner. The insight she gave us was also really helpful! I highly recommend Katie and would work with her again in a heartbeat.
I really enjoyed working with Oona. She shared so much information about the organization and its mission. That helped us to quickly understand where we could help in assessing pay for the staff.
