Our mission

E+Co is a mission-driven investment company that provides services and financing to clean energy entrepreneurs in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
These enterprises not only represent a cost-effective and long-term solution for local energy provision through clean technology, but many have also become local business champions that are charting a new, cleaner, more inclusive development path for their countries.

What we do

E+Co is an international non-profit organization that invests in clean energy businesses in developing countries, providing lasting solutions to climate change and poverty.

Over 2 billion people lack access to basic energy. E+Co's enterprise development services and capital empower entrepreneurs to provide clean energy solutions to the energy poor. Since 1994, E+Co has made 287 investments in 36 countries totaling over $45 million.

We measure all our investments along a Triple Bottom Line to ensure that all investments produce social, environmental and financial impacts for people and planet.
