Mission

Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and drug-related harm among injection drug users & the community. Services are based on the non-judgmental acceptance of drug users, evidence-based health science, & human rights. HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, & risk-reduction strategies are utilized with the aim of advancing individual and collective strength and enhancing the well-being of drug users and the community.
